1944 :: Anne Frank arrested in Amsterdam by German Security Police following a tip-off from an informer who was never identified. Aged 13, Jewish Anne Frank and her family went into hiding in Amsterdam in 1942 to escape persecution under Nazi occupation. Anne's diary is regarded as the most famous personal account of the Holocaust and has been turned into a play and film.

It’s called the vaquita (or little cow), and they are world’s most endangered marine mammal. Their population has now been reduced to a handful of numbers.
